Where they are legislated, Denturists are recognized as an important part of the health profession. A Denturist is a registered (licensed) professional whose scope of practice as a dental practitioner, is dedicated solely to providing removable full and partial dentures. They are recognized health practitioners whose scope includes the construction, insertion and adjustment of removable dentures as well as overdentures on implants, mouth protectors and sleep apnoea appliances.
